I purchased my first Golden Retriever “Aloni” in the late 70s and have not looked back since on all the joy owing this wonderful breed has brought me.
“Pacificgold” Perm.Reg. Golden Retrievers was first established in 1983 this is the same year that I bred and raised my first litter, in that litter there were multiple champions including a Best In Specialty winner, BISS Can.Ch.Pacificgold’s Paddington Bear “Danny” (pictured below winning Group One at the Classic in 1987)
In a limited breeding program I am very proud of all the dogs with the Pacificgold prefix and their accomplishments. They have achieved over 140 titles, including Multiple Canadian American Best in Show, Best in Specialty winners, Multiple Best in Show winners, Best in Specialty winners and Multiple Best Puppy in Show winners. Other Pacificgold Kids have earned their Canadian and or American SDHF, OS, OD, CGC, CD, CDX, UD, NAJ, WC, WCX, RN, and JH titles.
We are just as proud of the dogs we have bred or the offspring that our boys have sired that have gone on to earn their therapy dog, search and rescue status and just being the best family companion, they are all loved unconditionally.

In the same year he also earned #4 Sporting Dog
and in 2014

and ended the year as the #2 Sporting Dog
We also had the honour to own another boy who won Top Golden Puppy in Canada, and later went on to the #3 Show Golden in Canada (only shown for three weekends). He was the winner of a Best In Show at the largest dog show in Canada (to date) with an entry of over 1400 dogs he was

Our breeding program is aimed at producing dogs with correct structure, movement and work ability keeping in mind the most important thing is producing mentally and physically sound puppies with the “True Golden Temperament”.
Though we no longer place puppies into show homes we still strive to breed to the standard keeping health and temperament our priority. Our preference is family/companion homes. All puppies are sold on non-breeding agreements and MUST be spayed or neutered at age indicated in contract. All litters are raised in the home with the much needed socialization required for the sound healthy happy puppy.

For more than 30 years we were located in Victoria, BC (in the Highlands) and moved to Qualicum Beach in 2013 where the dogs, 1 cats, 3 goats, 6 chickens and a pony have more room to run and play.
